5th class have worked incredibly hard over the past few weeks. From learning all about Fairtrade and Christopher Columbus in geography and history and enjoying vocabulary hunts and games in Gaeilge. We also focussed on some tricky topics in maths, like fractions and long division, however, we still managed to have fun, especially with our ‘division family’ (division dad, multiplication mom, subtraction sister, bring-down brother and repeat Rover), which helped us remember the steps.
We did some amazing art, looking at artists such as Alma Thomas and Henri Matisse. We also had lots of fun in PE, making up sequences in gymnastics.
